Music
Music Program
The music curriculum is based on the elements of melody, rhythm, form, and harmony. Beginning in kindergarten, weekly music classes emphasize active participation in singing and playing instruments. Students learn liturgical music for weekly liturgies. There is opportunity for students to participate in extracurricular choir programs beginning in the third grade. The extracurricular band program begins in fourth grade and continues through eighth grade.
