Parent School Organization (PSO) Fundraisers

Book Fair: This is a one day annual event at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore Galleria. Our OLG parents/community have the opportunity to purchase books as gifts, for classrooms, or for the OLG school library. A wish list is provided by each teacher to aid in the purchasing. All proceeds, which come from a percentage of the total sales that day, are used to acquire additional books and learning tools for the school library.


Box Tops for Education: Through this General Mills program OLG School receives cash back when students/families clip, collect, and turn in box tops from specific products. Proceeds help support PSO activities such as Bravo, Art Masterpiece, and Junior Great Books.


Carnival: The third Friday evening in April is the traditional date for our annual school Carnival. A yearly theme is chosen that encourages participation and enjoyment. The event offers games, activities, grab bags, food and fun for all ages. This activity provides an opportunity for families to get involved while offering financial support to the school.


Gift Wrap: Students sell Innisbrook Gift Wrap (including chocolates and assorted gift items) at the beginning of the school year. OLG School retains 50% of total dollar sales. Proceeds help support PSO activities such as Bravo, Art Masterpiece, and Junior Great Books.

Marathon: OLG’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the Marathon to support non-public education is a two week fundraiser in early October. The children ask family and friends to support OLG School through tax deductible donations. There is a fun theme selected each year and a fundraising goal set. The event kicks off with a Spirit building pep fest and families enjoy a celebration the first Saturday of October as the kids walk, bike and enjoy music and refreshments at our OLG campus or a local park. It is a not to be missed event enjoyed by all. A portion of funds raised are allocated to the school’s operating budget and the remaining funds go to a specific need which is identified and voted on each year by the PSO board.


Santa’s Secret Shop: In early December, our PSO (Parent School Organization) sponsors Santa's Secret Shop. This event is a fundraiser as well as an opportunity for the students to purchase gifts for family and friends. The proceeds from the event go to approved charities specifically benefiting children. All of the students and particularly the younger shoppers enjoy this opportunity to buy Christmas gifts on their own, while learning the importance of giving.

Target’s “Take Charge of Education”: A program in which OLG School receives a percentage of purchases at Target/Target.com when a Target Visa or a Target Card is used as payment and Our Lady of Grace Catholic School has been designated on the account. Proceeds go directly to OLG School.

OLG Men’s Club Fundraisers

Christmas Tree Sales: The Men’s Club sells award winning trees, wreaths and garland at great prices. All proceeds are used to maintain Our Lady of Grace Catholic School’s athletic field. This beautiful field is enjoyed by kids and families from throughout the community.

                

Annual Dinner Dance and Auction: The Our Lady of Grace Men’s Club hosts an annual dinner/dance and auction. Proceeds from the 2008 dinner/dance will go towards renovation of the OLG Athletic Fields and the new field house building.
