Technology and Internet Safety
It is an exciting time at Our Lady of Grace School! We are growing and quickly getting connected online. Your fourth grader is using the mobile laptop cart equipped with wireless internet several times a week. Your child is learning how to search for information, pictures and resources online. At school we are teaching students how to use technology and the internet safely, and we are able to monitor and filter to what your child has access. However, your child may have more freedom on the internet at home, and as a parent you should also be aware of how to keep your child safe while online. Your child's safety is of the utmost importance. Together we can help your child make responsible and mature decisions while online. In order to do this, we need to be educated on what the dangers are of being online and how to prevent harm.
