Parent School Organization

Welcome to the Our Lady of Grace Parent School Organization’s (PSO) web site. We exist to support and enhance the education and community at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. We are also the catalyst for the major school fund-raising events. All members of the Our Lady of Grace community are welcome and encouraged to participate. We value our community of strong volunteerism and involvement.

Mission Statement

To create and maintain a cohesive educational community of parents, teachers and administration, working together to develop human and monetary resources to enhance Our Lady of Grace Catholic School.

The PSO's objectives are:

1. To provide volunteers to actively support the school and the community at large.
2. To be a fund-raising organization for the school.
3. To facilitate information between parents, teachers, the administration, the School Board and the parish on issues relating to the Parent School Organization.
4. To provide stewardship opportunities for community outreach.

Membership

Membership in the PSO is open to all parents and guardians of students who are enrolled at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School and all faculty members of OLG School. PSO dues are $30.00 per family annually, payable at registration each year. We have a wide variety of volunteer positions available to fit your schedule and areas of expertise. If you are a member of the OLG community but do not have children in our school, there are also ways to get involved in PSO committees.

Archdiocesan policy requires background checks for all volunteers at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. This includes any parent/community member who reads to a class, who assists students one-on-one or who assists in any classroom/school activity, party or event. Please contact the school office with questions or to receive background check forms.

Meetings
The PSO meeting schedule is posted in the column to the right.  PSO meetings generally take place the second Tuesday of every month in the school library. PSO meetings are open to everyone in the OLG School Community.
