Volleyball

Volleyball is the second of the two fall sports offered at Our Lady of Grace. This activity is offered to girls only and is the single exception to the statement that sports at OLG start in fifth grade. Volleyball is open to all girls in grades four through eight.

Registration for the fall season is held the previous spring. Teams are organized and schedules drawn over the summer. Practices for all teams begin the first week of school and are held in the OLG gymnasium. Each team will practice two times per week and play two to four matches per week.

Fourth through sixth grade teams play all their matches on Saturdays, while seventh and eighth grade teams play all their matches during the week. A one-day, single-elimination tournament for all teams marks the end of the fall season.
