Softball

Softball is the other spring sport at Our Lady of Grace and is offered to all fifth through eighth grade girls. Registration for all teams is held in January. Teams are organized and schedules are drawn in late February or early March.

Practices begin in the OLG gymnasium the middle of March and move outside to OLG's athletic fields when weather permits. Teams will practice two times per week and play one or two games per week.

Fifth and sixth grade teams play all their games on Saturday and in many cases play double headers.

Seventh and eighth grade teams will play the majority of their season during the week and the remaining games are played on Saturday or Sunday.

All seventh and eighth grade teams participate in a one-day season ending tournament. The tournament games are held at various schools and in most cases completed by Memorial Day.
