Test Scores


MCAs

The MCAs (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments) are given in Grades 3, 5, and 7. These are criterion reference tests. MCA scores are currently reported as Does Not Meet (D), Partially Meets (P), Meets (M), and Exceeds (E) standards.  We have reported the scores on this website (see download in the column to the right) for the percentages of students who Meet (M) or Exceed (E) standards.

These tests are mandated for public schools by the legislature. Our Lady of Grace is one of the few private schools that chooses to give them. We have chosen to give these tests to ensure that our curriculum aligns effectively with statewide standards and also to give us another measure of student performance.
